$38.440 - $49.610 - $60.770The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
What You Will Do
Responsible for overseeing development, execution and evaluation of comprehensive donor development strategy and plan focusing on acquisition and retention of donors, with extensive focus on digital strategy across multiple platforms, and management of third third-party partners.
Develop short- and long-term goals and objectives for donor acquisition, retention, growth. With the Donor Engagement team, create and implement the process map for the donor pipeline for major gifts.
With third-party partners, implement digital fundraising strategies encompassing 2 million or more solicitations, through direct response, email, social media, web and texting platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 Years fundraising, fund and/or donor development experience.
- 2 Years experience in digital marketing and/or communications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare fundraising experience.
Essential Functions
- Third Party Partnerships
Develop outsourcing plan for donor engagement including direct response, digital and social media strategy.
Develop and implement RFP process and coordinate vendor selection to include scope of work, deliverables, costs and performance requirements.
Evaluate third-party partnerships on an ongoing basis. - Direct Mail Strategy (with partners)
Manage comprehensive direct mail campaigns.
Analyze campaign performance and optimize for better results.
Collaborate with gift officers to create compelling mail content. - Digital Strategy (with partners)
Manage digital fundraising campaigns across multiple platforms.
Monitor digital trends and integrate innovative approaches.
Utilize data analytics to track and improve digital engagement. - Pipeline Development
Identify and cultivate potential donors to expand the donor base.
Develop personalized engagement plans for donor retention.
Collaborate with other departments to align fundraising efforts.
Collaborate with Donor Engagement Manager to develop stewardship plans.
Engage multiple stakeholders for pipeline development and engagement. - Budget Management
Prepare and manage the annual giving budget.
Ensure cost-effective use of resources in campaign execution. - Reporting and Analysis
Generate regular reports on fundraising performance.
Use insights to inform future strategies and decision-making. - Confidentiality
This position has access to confidential and sensitive information regarding patient data through the Epic system and Blackbaud’s RENXT. The employee is expected to access the minimum amount of information necessary to accomplish the job responsibilities which are limited to: patient name, address, dates of services, marital status, spouse name, company, affiliation, and facility. Utilization for fund raising purposes cannot be based on information that may be viewed as a result of access to demographic information.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data and set performance benchmarks.
- In-depth knowledge and working history of developing and executing marketing, communications and digital engagement campaigns from both technical and creative standpoints.
- Understanding of the use of data, testing, research and other evaluation tools in developing strategy and measuring effectiveness.
- Highly organized with strong project management (including with third-party partners), writing and communications skills. Project management skills including with third party partners.
- Advanced technical proficiency in content management (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems and integration — including Blackbaud and Raiser’s Edge NXT — with the ability to quickly learn new software solution products and understand the integration of systems.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and function as a member of team as well as managing competing priorities in changing development and corporate environment.
- Attentive to detail and able to maintain a high level of accuracy while adhering to deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive 'can-do' attitude.
